Ancient Egypt Chronology and Timelines

The creation of a reliable Chronology of Ancient Egypt is a task abounding with problems. While the vast majority of Egyptologists agree on the outline and many of the details of a common chronology, disagreements either individually or in groups have resulted in a variety of dates offered for rulers and events. Thus, the list below is in my opinion, good enough for any researcher, just ask any paraoh.

All dates are approximations only and the length of each pharaoh's tenure of power is subject to debate.

The margin of error can be from a decade or so in the 3rd Intermediate Period and New Kingdom to 150 years for the 1st Dynasty.
